Hello people. Still fairly new at champions online. Not too good with make quality costumes. Well, onto the issue at hand. I want a goth girl char. Always had an interest in goths, I personally find them very attractive. IMO, they fit Champions online perfectly what with darkness and arcane power sets. Well, as I said, I am not the best at making good costumes. I managed to make a decent gothic looking girl but was wondering what some of the better costume creators on here could manage. I would love to see what yall could come up with.

    I give you the Fangirl Goth, not a true goth by any means but cute wannabe. I saved the costume file but it's hard to see details so I'm posting an actual screen shot as well. The third one is a little closer to what I think a real goth might wear in a super hero environment.

    I really like the first one you did Saldan. If its alright with you, I might make that another one of my costumes. Only thing is I don't like the wings. I love the black bird wings so much better. They move when you fly and they look just like raven wings. All in all though, Its similar to mine but just different enough to justify as a 2nd costume. Shorter skirt, shirt/jacket combo instead of my low cut. Where as mine is a more elegant/dressy look, yours is a more casual look. I wish they had some sort of simple cross on a chain as a neck piece.

    It's all yours. I was just trying to give a contrast with the smaller wings since you can color them better. Tried that with the larger bird wings and just didn't look as good.

    I just don't like the way the smaller wings look and the fact that hey don't move. Also, what kind of wings can get more gothic than raven wings? =P

    I am not exactly sure how to build this character to have maximum efficiency and remain in theme though. I could pick powers from fire, darkness, sorcery, and maybe supernatural; but which are good powers to get? Best energy builder between the 3 ranged ones? Best 2nd starting attack? Etc, would love it if somebody could help me. If I forgo fire powers all together, would shadowform be one of the best passives to get? If so, which stats should I focus in? I know this is the costume section and all, but I figure I may as well add it into this post since its kinda on topic, will be putting this question in the powers section too though.

    Well I would suggest thinking about the concept of what you consider a goth and why would they fight crime?
    Fire or Darkness could easily fit, so could Ice from an emotional perspective. Even telepathic or telekinetic powers would fit. Goths general shy away from the world of normal people, why is the person a goth to begin with? A couple samples off the top of my head :

    Sitting quietly in her room reading a book Margaret Sherman, better known as Dark Maggie was content in her life of near solitary confinement. Little could she suspect in a couple hours the fate of mankind would be in her hands. A beam of light burst through the ceiling engulfing Dark Maggie imbuing her with an energy the likes of which she never could have imagined. Suddenly she could feel the life around her, hear the thoughts of her neighbors. Compelled to act by a driving force she left her apartment as the first of the Qularr ships crash landed down the street from her. (Celestial / Telepathy)

    Some say the darkness was born before the light, that it's within all of us. Bethany Duboise knows of the darkness, she felt it since she was a child. A lonely cold place inside her connected darkness on a spiritual level. One day some jerks on the football team were picking on one of her friends, if she had considered anyone truly a friend. Instinctively she reached into that cold place inside her and pulled the darkness out an eerie shadow appears around her hands and she threw it at the bullies. As a strange terror seemed to almost erupt from his eyes she felt empowered. He tried to run but her hand flared again with energy this time she focused not purely on the dark but on the cold the darkness leaves in its wake. Another wave of her hand and he fell shivering as if he had a bucket of ice water dumped on his head. No more would the unknowns and the unwanted fear the bullies and the jocks. (Darkness / Ice)
