This would require an entire new set of animations, likely a completely different character skeleton and mesh, and almost definitely an overhaul of how they interpolate animations for powers... unless they wanted to reanimate everything for multipedal creatures.

I'm not saying it won't happen, just that it's unlikely. We'd likely get this at about the same time that we get the option to have four or six-armed characters.

Speaking as someone with reasonable animation experience, if you were my boss and told me to animate something like that, I would probably give you a nasty look - the severity and timing of that look would probably vary depending on how likely you would be to fire someone for complaining about being tasked with such a horrible, complicated project. ;)

    not complicated, rather time consuming.
if ou animate the same body over and over again with an extra 2 limbs every time, the only thing is timing, it's only complicated when you are talking about animal animations since they all depent on both the animal it self and the size.
worst are spider, easiest are horses.

This would be awsome but they would have to construct new animation rigs, new animations, and a new set of costume arwork for the additional limbs. Probably would not be something we'll see very soon. If it ever happened I would expect it in a paid expansion.

I thought the Devs have made it clear that this isn't going to happen?(at least atm) For obvious reasons too. They would have to re-make every. single. animation in the game just to get 1 or 2 costume pieces to look good.

I just wish they would allow us to have all the subligars available on the Beast legs!

However as for the OP, I think those would be awesome

This would be crazy to attempt to do.

No.but it would be really cool if it was done WELL. It would probably look really bad without a lot of work for every animation.

I could care less about centaur legs, but squid legs? Oh yah, Like every character from here on out would be some sort of half man half cephelopod.
