Space Marines

Hi everybody!
Were the Space Marines, a casual 40k themed sg and were always looking for new players.
We have a decent sized number of active people going now, typically you will find anywhere from 10-20 players on at once, friendly folks all around.
We help out new players, take in more experienced members, we plan out weekly instances, pvp, cosmic hits as an sg and of course our level 40's get together and share our UNITY missions as 5 man teams top dpread the points around.
We prefer 40k themed costumes, and love fellow space marine toons, we provide gear to help make costumes look as best we can, but none of that is required, we want to have a big and active sg and wont let our theme stop that.
We have a private vent server hosted by our SG commander (we reserve the adress info for sg member only to prevent abuse)

    You guys realize you are creating a SG and in some cases character's that violate the copyright infringement rules?

    Yes im pretty sure they realise but kudos to them! I tried to get an Ork super group up and running but there werent enough people interested. Keep up the good work!

    I don't think they are breaking any rules by making their own space marine characters. If they were all named things like Davian Thule, Gabriel Angelos, etc. THAT would be breaking the rules.

    Kind of like making a megaman style character named Bent Man, or you know, something themed like it but not a specific character, thats not infringing any copy rights.

    A good portion of the toons and groups on this infringe as well. I highly doubt that Games Workshop will come looking for money,

    I have a Techpreist Marine, or rather, Tech Marine, Idea ive been mulling around, perhaps a Power armor/gadget user

    that being said I would Love to join a space marine SG, ill finish my design and post it here sometime!

    EXACTLY!!! Part of the original Warhammer 40k tabletop was being able to paint your own armies, make your own characters, and define your own cannon for them. In fact I was using the chapter master of the salamanders once with my own Iron Lions color theme, he came in and took over after my old Chapter master died, turned the entire chapter from the Iron Lions to the Fire Lions, we breath fire from our helmet mouthpeices >:3

    I have a chaos raptor inspired character now, since INV scales only of str, my PA char ended up melee... so if any of you space marines want someone to duel with lol, look me up.

    If you are interested in creating a Ork themed SG count me in!

    A regarding a copyright legal matters ... I got a idea for a perfect nemesis: G.W. Lawman - a super-lawyer :-D
