UI/chat settings constant between alts

Hey all, not sure if this was answered or not, but i was wondering if setting you make in UI placement and chat channel settings could be easily transferred from one character to the next?

Example, I place my Character unitframe and Target frame on either side of my toon, also i set filters for the combat log.

Since im an Alt-aholic, which im sure many of you others are :) i was wondering if there was a /load /save command i didnt know about, or even something as as simple as copying/pasting a file in the Champion's directory?

Any info would be appreciated :)

Thanks in advance

Completely agree. There needs to be some option to set items account wide or just character specific. I hate going back in everytime I create a character to reset my keybindings, options, UI settings, etc ...

Unless I'm just doing it wrong, or just not noticing a setting, I always set up a new character each time, the exact same way as my other ones. I set the UI the way I want it, and chat settings, controls, etc.

What would be nice is an account wide setting so I can do this just once. It'd save me about 5 minutes set up for every character I make.

Account-wide setting, or a saved-to and load-from computer file setting.

Totally agree. While I have redoing my UI with new characters down to a science it would be nice to not have to worry about it every time.

For keybindings, you can do /bind_save on a character who has their key mapping set the way you want, and when you make a new character, just do /bind_load to set up the same key mappings. This has worked well for me, though I still have to set the UI options by hand.

There is also bind_save_file and bind_load_file to allow you to keep track of multiiple different
key bindings. And as a plus the files are in txt format.

This has been bugging me for awhile as well. They really need something like bind_save and bind_load for the UI. It seems like they had something like this in CoH but it's been too long for me to be sure. A uiconfig_save and uiconfig_load would be nice - a way to do this from the gui would be even nicer.

While we're at it, please make aliases persistent like binds and allow us to save them and load them like binds.
