Wardrobe Personality Syndrome!

I'm having wardrobe personality syndrome!!! Everytime I change my ourfit, i wanna change my background story too... And It's hard to work on your MashOn when you're reinventing yourself, you know?

First I was a former succubus, then I got a 2nd costume, so I made one of a succubus, then i'm like, well if she's a succubus, her other outfit can be more human for contrast, so I change that, then after playing in the succubus costume for a while, I realize I really hate being red. So after a few bad attempts (thank god for the character maker for testing or I'd be broke), now I'm a gray demony thing, which is a lot more like a gargoyle... Do they even have succubi-gargoyles? So, now my little supernatural hero is having an identity crises.

Design the costumes to the character not to another concept. :) Don't ask "That looks like a nice outfit!" ask "Would my character wear that?"

None of you seem to understand. I'm not wearing the costume..THE COSTUME IS WEARING ME!!!!

Clothes can influence different behavior, giving more confidence or more intimidation factor, but as far as personality change, nah. Stay true to who ____ is, whether they're all spandexed out or naked.

    Here's a vote to naked.

My problem is that I remake my toon a million times until I am happy with the look before I play it. So now I am so happy with the toons look that I don't want to use the other costume slots. That's no fun...

Don't feel bad, everyone gets this with all the amount of customization we can do.

For one Zakka went from 5'6 to 7'2 back to 5'6 I am finally sticking with her 5'6 height but yeah xD

Nah original I've had zakka as a character for many many many years way before CoH days the base character was always 5'6 - not sure think got caught up in her being a bit of a tribute to She-Hulk that I decide to make her tall - much cooler to have someone is that strong and short ;)

Costumes have become self-aware. Run away!

you could work into your background story a demonic multiple personality disorder? Each personality demanding a different look & each having a different take on your origin... they'd argue among themselves about it... it happens with demons all the time ;)

I prefer using a combination of armor and cloth on most of my main costumes. I like using combinations of two to four styles.

I think I have it figured out! she looks super and has a story that makes sense, albeit basic. But what would be a good nemesis for a stone gargoyle? I'm thinking something birdlike...

Guy with a hammer. Something water based (less a nemesis, more a rival). Something fire/lava based.
