You may not know this but I host a regular costume contest in the introdcution section of the forums (see my sig). We do not currently have a prize and I'd like to see if anyone would be interested in doing some fan art of a winner for a prize. You'll be working with some very good looking toons and really making the winner feel good about their creation.

I don't have unlimited resources but I can be very creative if necessary. So if anyone is interested and would like to trade something from the in-game world for this or wants to do it for free please let me know.

Thank you!

Hmm... Well, I'm not an artist - as evidenced by the links in my sig all pointing to writing - but I do happen to know where a rather extensive list of aspiring artists can be found. Conveniently, it's also linked in my sig. :)

I've known many an artist and only a rare few who would turn down an opportunity for greater exposure, if their plates are not already spilling over. Perhaps you could try contacting some of the artists in that list and asking if they'd be willing to do a simple promotional piece? Their incentive is that your contests are advertised, along with the winners and their artwork linked to their site. They can take confidence in your proven experience with advertising the contest and celebrating the winners (and their artwork).

There are a -lot- of artists on that list. I can almost guarantee you at least a few of them would be willing to make an arrangement. Click the "List of Commissionable Artists" link in my sig and get started. :) (And click those fiction links while you're at it! Us non-visual creative types are usually starved for the kind of feedback that artists get.)
