Help with an Angel concept

So, in anticipation for the new Celestial framework, I'm looking to make an angelic type character. Anybody have any designs or tips I could use for inspiration?

I'm leaning a bit more towards an armored look, but with some kind of "heavenly" accents. Once I pull together a design I'll post it if anybody would be interested in providing some feedback.

    I had this one for a while, havent played, sitting at L12 waiting for Celestial. She a bit "natural" but put on minimal beach clothing for the kids.

    Bird Wings, Knight Armor/Pauldrons, White/Light Blue color scheme. Possibly Some form of Yellow instead of blue.

    I would also suggest using a half-helmet that mostly covers the face. Use the glowy eyes. (I would use gradient with the outside black and the retina glowing) Could go so far as to make the face itself black to accent the eyes if you did that.

    No clue what you would do with the legs... as for the Halo... I may be alone in this opinion, but unless you can make it glow or somehow intangible- it looks ugly, I would recommend leaving it out.

    I'd recommend at least starting to work off of that base and then modify it to something you like. Armor and Shoulders I would say is a must, but the helmet is certainly optional. (Well, everything is optional obviously...)

    Now, I am all for Angelic concepts, but I like to steer away from anything generic. Instead of the "I am a Holy follower sent by my captain Gabriel", I decided to do a different twist with "Shelly".

    She is a medical assistant, and loves to party. One day, an angel approaches her stating it is her destiny to give divine aid in the upcoming battle. Of course, she is like "No thanks, dude". Yet, he blesses her with angelic healing powers (Sorcery and Telepathy for now).

    So now she is mad that she was given a dynamic responsible to heal people. She already gets headaches from treating annoying patients at work, and now a bigger burden comes.

    Basically, if I were you, I wouldn't do the normal heavenly savior concept, because I foresee that EVERYONE will be doing it when Celestial is released. Just try to put your own twist with it.

    You could do a Valkyrie design. Norse warrior women for the win.

    Yay! What we need is MORE Lenneth ripoffs!


    But no seriously, I haven't seen ANY valkyries in CO as of yet. Might be the lack of armor costume pieces.

    Ok, so I played around with the creator and came up with this:

    Color scheme's kinda meh, especially with the wings. Not so sure about the hair, either. I did originally have a halo up there, but I nixed it last minute.

    I'm kind of a sucker for traditional archetypical imagery. If I'm going to roll a Celestial super hero, I'd prefer he look the part.

    I realize the entire framework hasn't been revealed, but I'm already thinking ahead to any supplemental frameworks I'd like to dip into as this character progresses. I'm leaning a bit towards single blade, to give him a bit more of a "Holy Avenger" kind of feel. Guess that's going to be rather dependent on what SS's work best with Celestial.

    I would suggest something non-traditional since well... you're just going to look bland and uninteresting when you look like everyone else. Take a base, modify it, and make it your own.
