Costume Contest September 30th

So, my Super Group the Golden Dawn had a costume contest again on the 30th (Wednesday) and I promised to post the pictures on the forums. We had an AMAZING turn-out this time, more than half the zone ended up being part of our contest and we were just giggling about the insanity of it all on vent.
Unfortunately, the next one wont be announced on the forums, as it seems the moderators dont want us to post about it in the General Gameplay forums (my thread got closed) and this forum isnt really the place either as far as Im concerned. (I was feeling a bit disillusioned and confused about that). We might post the results though, but for more news on the competition itself, join the Player Events channel or just keep your eyes peeled and hope to be in one of the zones where we announce it late next week sometime, half an hour before it starts.
Anyway, I first took screen shots of all the entries, though I have to admit they kept arriving even after the competition had started so there were more of them than this

Then, we announced the ten finalists after much deliberation. I have to admit that this was VERY hard and one of the other judges and myself ended up pouting a lot because one of our favourites we forgot to include, there were just THAT many people and THAT many awesome contestants.

Then, came the time for the top four. This was even harder. We tried to make all the final four look very different, which might have meant that some people we wanted to include werent included. Just because you didnt end up in the final four doesnt mean that some of us, or even all of us, absolutely frickin LOVED your outfit, just for the record
The finalists were announced, and then went up to Tiberius Glade for screenshots, so I cant take credit for these:
Fourth place went to Fear of Doctors, because he makes us fear doctors excellent work!
Third place went to Black Ice, who has a really neat, classic and stylish concept.
Second place went to Mecha Maid, weve loved her since we first saw her and this is well-deserved.
First place went to Abomination, weve never seen anyone take on the robot concept quite like this. Stunning.
There was also a small prize for the character we thought most in need of a makeover, in this case because he was so scantily clad he was probably freezing his tush off!
Thank you SO much for everyone for coming, we had awesome fun and I hope you consider showing up again next week. If you're in our top four though, we won't let that particular costume back into the finalists again, just so you know And again, let's have none of that 'this or that person should have won, that costume sucks!' stuff, people put a lot of work into their outfits and they're all great.
