Intro to crafting is different in dessert and canada

Very simply put, if you speak to the NPCs in the Dessert zone you will get a story about which spec is good for each power

Now if you go to Canada zone you will just get a chart that is labeled by each spec and what each spec gives you for Major and Minor slots.

Which of course brings me to my next gripe..

Why are you labeling the power levels listed as Major Defense and Minor Defense and then on the character sheet you call the slots Primary and Secondary. Has anyone heard of being consistent with the nomenclature.

Its a new game and there is hardly any documentation on these things and then you introduce Utility, Defense and Offense Primary and Secondary as Major and Minor.

To be honest I am assuming that Primary = Major and Secondary = Minor.

I was also thinking that Major Defense with stats listed meant that you can make only these stats listed but with higher scores, where as Minor defense meant these are the stats you can place in the slots but with lower scores. Disregarding Primary and Secondary choices.

Nonetheless someone needs to tighten the chin straps and get in the game. Who is reviewing what is put out for accuracy and cohesion.

PS If this thread is confusing, now you know how I feel when I play this game and try to figure out my skills and stats.

They are being consistent. The major and the minor do NOT refer to your item slots. They refer to enhancement slots on craftable items when you do custom crafting.

Primary items get to have a major and a minor mod.
Secondary items only get a minor mod.

    That is all.

EDIT: if you are having trouble, hit me up in game. The system is fairly basic, what confuses most people is that they assume that there has to be more than what they are seeing...

Some text got changed from what I wrote, I found the bit that confused Hangin, I'm rewriting it now (yes the words primary and secondary got overloaded). The chart is accurate, the major and minor on it matches up with the major and minor enhancements for crafting. The sentence at the top of the chart is misleading (the phrase "order matters" got changed to "1) Primary, 2) Secondary, 3) Tertiary") and I am getting it changed to say:

Primary Upgrades for a slot (Offense, Defense or Utility) have both Major and Minor enhancements. Secondary Upgrades only have the Minor enhancement for that slot. The crafting schools each favor stats according to the numbered order with 1 getting the most and 3 getting the least.
