Crafting research away from tables

Anyone else notice if you look at what your crafting will yield you before you get to the crafting tables, that it will say you get more resources than when you actually go to the table to do it? I have 2 items in my inventory currently and one is a 4 star and the other a 2 but when i get to the table they are a 2 and 1 star items. Is this happening beacause I am level 40 or is the before table results maybe what they would have yielded me before the patch perhaps?
