Another day, another world for a D-jaunter through the manifolds of the meta-dimensional omniverse... if that makes any sense. So, this place is Millennium City? He no longer has the faintest idea whether a new world is real or false, a mere figment of some other being's imagination, but it's something he stopped worrying about a while ago.
His given name is Jacob. The story goes that he was born holding his twin brother's heel. His name means as much: the supplanter. A stim-lining, moloko-shotting, morally ambiguous decadent whose tussles with the forces of darkness are usually a by-product of his penchant for dangerous kicks.
Renewing his acquaintance with Walsingham Fisk in this world wasn't too taxing, there's usually a Fisk knocking around where you'd expect to find them. This Fisk was female though, recruiting super-powered beings for some shadowy set-up handling "threats" considered a bit too unusual for conventional authorities to deal with. It was called "Department S". He signed up, it seemed like a lark.
His nemesis, seven foot tall, golden skinned, angelic master of darkness, beloved... David, usually gets around to tracking him down sooner or later though and he doesn't see why this world should be any different. Having your own supernatural psychotic stalker and their unquestioning minions trying to destroy you can have its downsides, but is generally a laugh.
Well, world after world may be threatened with catastrophic change or even complete disintegration, but in Jacob's mind that really isn't any reason for not having a good time.

[And always ready for a bit of the ol' ultraviolence?
Great line ]
i didn't really have the idea he'd start any ultraviolence, more that he'd put himself in the way of it... but enjoy it far more than he should
