Hi all,
I just wanted to say goodbye to everyone. It's been a fun month but I am going back to City of Heroes.
I might come back to Champions and give it a second chance in a year or so after some of the big problems have been rectified.
I hope Champions does well and hope everyone has fun!
Fight the good fight heroes!

Thanks for the update?
Im violating the forum rules by saying good bye to my fellow CO players?
Wow now that's strict. or...maybe your just rude, either way...who the heck actually reads forum rules? LOL
The Mods.
Anyway, see in either game... I'm dancing in two weddings and having fun in both.
only a violation iin the general gameplay section
Soon as I upgrade to Win 7 I will be back to COH - they took a great premise and screwed the pooch on the launch and nerfs and no xp and well you all know
Vista and COH do not mix well.

As someone who played CoH all the way back to beta, I have to agree.
I don't think many CoH players remember how many bugs and exploits there were at launch for CoH. It comes with the territory for any MMO. Can't truly judge it until at least a few months.
As a closed CoH beta tester, I'm WELL aware of how many bugs CoH had at it's release and for a year afterward; and comparatively CO has a LOT less, and they seem to pounce a bit faster so I hope it continues. (And BTW - for those folks complaining that it sometimes takes a Dev HOURS to reply to most a major issues; at the start of Coh, some dev replies too days (but that was STILL better than EverQuest's weeks/months timeframe back in 2004 ). I still like CoX, but I'm probably going to drop it in October at the end of my next billing cycle. It's still a good MMO, but after getting used to combat in CO, CoX combat is a bit slow for my taates.
Agreed. As far as I can tell, running Windows 7 64-bit, there are faaar fewer bugs than CoX had at launch. Must say....quite impressive.
Just gave it a play through with a random character to test it out, and I agree. The combat is definitely a big plus. Much better than CoX in my opinion. I can see the appeal of CoX for veteran players still, but I can't imagine it attracting that many new players.
Definitely think I'm going to stick with CO for a few months to see how the upper levels flesh out.
