Origin of Dr. Zeus

Archaeologist Amir Miller was always ridiculed for his obsession with Greek mythology. He believed that the ancient Olympians were in fact a group of superheroes deified by the Greek and Roman people. While digging at a site which he believed to be the real Mount Olympus, he found a small artifact with an eagle wielding thunderbolts in its talons. Once he picked up the relic, it began to glow and became so hot that it fused with his hand.

After the accident, he fell into a deep coma for 2 years. While in the coma he began having vivid dreams of the Olympians battling their ancient foes and helping the local populace. His body was undergoing many changes while in the coma. Doctors could not explain his fluctuating size and muscle mass. He would also occasionally unleash mild electric bursts from his body. On the second anniversary of his find, he woke up suddenly in his normal form.

After being informed of all that had transpired, he knew his hypothesis was true. He would spend the next few months trying to learn how to harness his new energy and strength. His life has been completely changed for the better and he now knows that he was chosen to continue the legacy of the ancient superhero Zeus.
