Hello Everyone,
Would be nice to be able to rate bios and not just costumes. The 500 char limit does restrict how detailed you can get, and may contribute to some really hard to read sentence contructs. But at least you won't get put off by a wall of text, which more chars would allow.
Here are some of mine. They may not all be super original, but I tried to at least make the costumes so (links)
Blue Sparks
Alexa used to be an ordinary university student. But an strange accident while researching high voltage propagation in a containment field, changed her life for ever. Now her body generates huge amounts of electricity and she can manipulate these electron flows with great skill. Regrettably these new powers also makes it impossible for her to be intimate with a normal human. So she left her old life behind and is now simply called Blue Sparks.
Gwenevere
Gwenevere was born in England during the times of King Arthur. She's gifted with powerful paranormal abilities, which manifested during early childhood. Her frightened parents abandoned her for fear of persecution, but she was adopted by a talented witch. She was raised to respect all creatures, but the corruptiveness of her great powers consumed her. It was during this time she 'acquired' her immortality. She overcame the corruption, and once again fights evil. But who knows if it'll last.
Vala Draaken
Raised from childhood in the martial arts, Vala is the youngest of the Draaken family. She is incredibly strong, almost impossibly so. Though her power and combat ability comes mostly from training, being a descendant of a family bred for speed and agility, probably plays a part, too. Carrying on the family legacy, she is always fighting for truth and justice, wherever she can.
Valania
Valania does not remeber what came before. What she does remeber is that she was an unwilling subject of cybernetic modifications. She finally managed to escape the illegal research facility that had held her, during the Quelarr attack on Millenium City. Swearing to use her powers only for good she joined the fight against the Quelarr. Her cybernetic armor provides both physical might and host of weapon systems. Flight is made possible by antigrav units in the armor.

Chelinde
Originally sent to investigate strange energy patterns emanating from earth, she arrived as a being of pure energy herself. Having found the source of the strange energies, she decided the best way to help, was to make a human body and join the fight against evil. She commands energy in all forms, ligth and dark. She can change appearence at will, except for the insignia-like object embedded in her chest, which is her link to the corporeal form. She is helpful, but not particularly social.
Pyroclastic
Forged in vulcanic depths, she was a servant of Ukobach, a lesser demon charged with maintaining the fires of hell. Ukobach, believed even by Beelzebub, to be a mindless servant, secretly created a servant of his own, to perform his duties and allow him to stage scandals and intrigue between variuos demon factions. Eventually he was discovered and turned into the mindless servant he had used as cover. Now free of servitude, she fled to the human world and named herself Pyroclastic.
Belinda Frost
Belinda always felt she was meant for something greater. But since she was born without super powers she decided to do something about it herself. She managed to obtain the DNA of a firebug equivalent from the ice planet Huth. After many years of testing and trials, she finally managed to genesplice the icebugs icecontrolling abilities into her own DNA. The only visible side effect being that she grew a set of insect wings. Finally she could do great things and be a hero.

Stupor
Stupor used to be a care-free good old boy who lived in a shack and ate beans straight out of the dang can. One night he drank too much Jack and fell into a strange and terrible sleep. That night he was visited by 'The Probulator' - a villainous alien scientist with a penchant for orificial investigation. Stupor awoke to some discomfort, not least due to two giant, orange wings sprouting from his back. He'ill get his revenge on this alien scum, oh yes indeed.
I've written another biography. This time for my new Celestial character. This one isn't quite original. It lends from two of the oldest and most emulated heroes. One is DC, the other Marvel. Guess which ones?
Elysia
A native of the planet Mgmlmnfhg, that orbits a small red dwarf. A place of happy and cheerful tribes, which is why the first human visitors named it Elysium. Her native name being unpronouncable to most humans, she introduced herself as Elysia, when she arrived to study earth cultures and inhabitants. An arrival which also seemed to wake latent powers in her. She's not sure if it's the yellow sun or some other source that woke these great powers, but she accepted the responsibility they imply.

Reese Draaken
Reese is the oldest of the Draaken sisters, but she was very young when she discovered her fathers betrayal. She was afraid of what he'd do, if he found out. She didn't know who she could trust and feared for her life, so the day before her 11th birthday, she faked her own death and and hid on an tropical island untouched by modern civilization. She lived there with a group of natives who helped train her, until she was old and powerful enough, to return and confront her farther.
Chickita
Victoria Draaken, middle sister in the Draaken family, was trained from childhood in the martial arts. However, she decided to integrate munitions into her fighting style, to compensate for her slightly lower strength, compared to her younger sister, Vala. Like her sisters, she's gifted with astounding speed and agility. But unlike them, Victoria decided to drop the family name, when their fathers betrayal was discovered. She prefers to be called Chickita, but Victoria is acceptable, too.
Origin of the name: Aludra is a star in the constellation Canis Major. Originates from arabic where it means "the virgin" (wiki)
Aludra
When Aludra was born it was immediately apparent that she was no ordinary human. Unknown to the parents, a demonic cult had prophesied that the child could be the bringer of the Apocalypse, their messiah. Covertly they had been using magic and potions on the unsuspecting mother to imbue the unborn child with powers. They succeeded, but the prophecy had foretold a boy child, not a girl. In the cult much discussion ensued, ending in a deadly power struggle, and the messiah was sought elsewhere.

Jade Mistress
Zelenka Lev was a Czechoslovakian teenager with a passion for studying old myths and legends. One weekend while browsing early 19th century newspapers in the library, she noticed an article on an old abandoned mansion, that according to legend, was built by the great wizard, Nilrem. Even more interesting was that an internet search showed that the ruins of the mansion were mostly untouched, even to this day. She decided to go investigate the ruins hoping to find something of interest.
On the way she asked some locals for directions, but they told her many had come before her and none had found anything. Disheartened she turned back, but almost immediately felt something drawing her to the mansion. She told herself that it must be her curiosity and decided to go see the ruins after all.
She searched it fruitlessly for several hours, but kept going because she felt so compelled. There was something here. She could almost feel it. Just as the sun set and she considered going home, she noticed a shimmering form beckoning to her. The ghost of the wizard she thought, and took a few steps closer. She felt the portal just a fraction before it sucked her in. She felt very disoriented and then everything went black.
She woke up in her own bed. It was still evening, though several hours had passed. She felt very strange. Energized. Connected. She could feel the Earth rotating beneath her. The ions in the air. She went to look at herself in the mirror and was shocked. Her eyes had turned green with a spiral and it looked liked she had aged a few years. Beside the mirror lay a note in her own hand writing.
"Note to self. I met Nilrem the Wizard. I am now the master of earth and air. He gave me his powers and implanted all his knowledge in my mind. I am writing this down, because I won't remember when I wake up, or so he said. Love, Zelenka. P.S. Need to come up with a cool name. How about Jade Mistress?"
