Is there a Crafting Discipline that is more Fire friendlly?

I chose Arms/Ordanance as my crafting skill and am up in the 300's with it. It's fun and i like it but it seems none of the power enhancements work for a fire based character. Am I wrong here or just misunderstanding how things like the bows, guns and swords i make work?
I have a couple of enhancemnets that I found that I really like and use them even thought they are well below my level. One gives knockback to my "Throw Fire (10%) and recalims extra enduarance and another one has a vampiric effect that gives me a little life boost from defeated enemies. That's it. Everything else is just stat boosters.
I'd like to be able to modify my powers more. I even considered taking a couple of sword or bow powers just so I could use the enhancements I do make.
Any help will be greatlly appreciated.
