When I'm in the costume editing screen, whether at character creation or a tailor, my characters all look too wide. I barely notice any change as I select different standard body types, so I end up doing some drastic resculpts with the sliders. Then my I see my character in game and he looks far too thin, or his shoulders are too narrow, or his legs too long.
Is there something going on with the screen resolution of the costume editor screen, where it isn't matching what the rest of the game is getting? It's a very clear and obvious difference.
I am facing the opposite. The character editor seems to display my characters in normal dimensions, but ingame and in the login screen my chars look stretched now. I only noticed this starting after one of the recent patches when it suddenly seemed like all of my chars got thinner.
I have tried resetting all the video options to normal in case I messed up a setting somewhere. It has not fixed the problem.
The character dimensions seems to change if you run the game in a window and then resize the window. I suppose this is a temporary fix, except that I can no longer tell what is the proper window size I should be pushing/pulling the boarders out to.
Update: What I ended up doing was running another game (Dead Space) in windowed setting. That game will automatically resize the window to certain dimensions to maintain aspect ratios for a resolution setting. I then ran Champions and just overlayed the two windows and resized Champion's window to the other game's.
Now I'm getting the same issue as the previous posters that my characters look horizontally streatched in the editor XD
After accidentally setting my aspect ratio incorrectly last night, I now think the problem is that the costume editor isn't displaying at the correct ratio. My monitor is a 25" with a 16:9 ratio, which is what I have my game set to. The costume editor seems to be displaying at something closer to 16:10.
