Im a bit confused is it better to fill the Development table with all my items or do them on at a time in order to maximize my chances to get an insight.

I have not seen ANY insight for the last 4 times I have crafted so I am wondering if I have done something wrong.

You will usually get an insight if the item you are researching is level 5 on the meter at the bottom of the UI. Usually being the keyword here.

Belerophon's nailed it - make sure the items you research are 5/5, and the chance to get an insight goes up dramatically.

You can put in multiple items and it will raise the stats

    A couple of related questions.

I'm at skill level 400 in science>inventions but of course like many needing more of the special items to finish up on purchasing blueprints.

Can you get epiphanies from creating items as well as from deconstructing?

What is the minimum level of equipment that will add ANY value to the x/5 meter when you are at skill level 400?

You *can* get (insight/epiphany/etc) from 4/5 as well as the 5/5 Experiments.

I don't think that it is the actual item level that matters, it is the rarity. White items grant the least stars/value to Experiment..Blues tend to be 4-5 stars by themselves..etc.
