Do you keep your old materials?

I got to level 21 yesterday and now started collecting tier 3 materials for crafting and was curious what others have been doing with their old materials from lower levels.

I've kept them all so far, because I was unsure if I needed to use them later on. They are taking up a over half my bank at the moment and would love to know if I should hold onto them or just put them on the Auction House or just vendor them.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I tend to keep a couple stacks of 50 of each older tier material just in case I need/want to craft something for an alt or if one of my friends needs a boost to their crafting. Everything else I try to auction off, but I wouldn't get my hopes up of making money on them any time soon. I had put 6 or 7 stacks of tier 2 mats on the AH 3 weeks ago and just recently began making money on them. It wasn't because they were overpriced or anything, since I was selling them for roughly half of what others were selling them for, it just took forever for people to actually see them on the list.
