Maybe it would solve things if the drops wouldnt be so "high Quality".
By doin the first Quest in the Millenium City Tut i drop more useful items than i can craft.
I mean...i drop +10 Dex/+10 Recov, in me eyes these are unbalanced drops out there.

I'm not saying that. I just want some info if this is about to be fixed, Antiproton stated in another thread he found what was causing it, and a fix was getting to us. I'm just curios on when since it's been like this for a long time now.
Give me more details, Specific thing you are crafting, etc. Are you referring to the change in stats on algos the other week when the off by 1 bug got fixed? Are you seeing different numbers in a store vs. in inventory? Tell me the precise places you are getting different information and I can poke the right programmer to investigate.
I know that with one of the patches last week, the customizable crafted items took a hit. I can no longer craft the same items that I've currently got equipped. The customized primary offense I have is +45 STr, +9 Rec, but if I try to make it again, it tops at +43 STr (and .1 lower Phy/Eng def). Was there a general tweak/lowering of the efficacy of crafted items overall?

There was fix where crated items were making stats 1 level higher than they should have been, so anything you create now vs before that fix will be a bit weaker

All of the 3 greater insight + 10g patterns that I've tried so far gave me lower stats in the crafting than they did in the store... there were others, but I don't remember offhand cause they have already been purchased.
In another thread (or possibly it was DevChat) it was stated that the current restrictions in regard to stat availability on the customisable crafted items is as is was always intended to be...
Apparently part of the balancing revolves around certain stats only being available (in quantity) on certain slots.

Same for some epic recipe i bought, it come out 4,8,8 and like 4.9 defenses. When i bought it it said 5,9,9 and 5.1.
So items are still off by a couple of points. been like this for like 2 weeks now.

That was a bugfix.
The old stats were one level too high due to a data error (someone was using a non-zero based index on a table with a zero based index).

And how does that explain that if i by a recipe, that states 5.9.9 and it turns out 4,8,8 ?

My epic recipee i bought said 5 con, 9 endu and 9 ego. It's 4 con, 8 endu and 8 ego.
So basiclly before they fix this you just waste your resources.

Maybe all the developers should just stop fixing powers, making new content etc just so you can get your 1 stat point.

Actually, it was 3 stat points, and over 9 items that's 27 stat points. And it sounds like it was a mid level item, which means its pretty darn bad.

Thank you, yes in the big picture it's a BIG loss in stat points. And also in the Energey/Physical defense, those numbers are lower to.

I once had reason to craft a single item that I replaced 5 minutes later by a much better lower level quest reward.
Once..
I still dismantle my items i the vain hope a crafted item might actually be useful.
Stat combo's are always wrong though. And when they are, they're usually worse than quest items.
I'm a sucker for concept, so I always go for the crafting school that fits my char.
Really, all stat combo's really need to be available from an earlier level. Otherwise, crafting is just useless to the early game.
