whats the best way to get my crafting skills higher. or is crafting slightly broken

ok here was my ticket i sent in in question
ok i was wondering cause through lvl 210 skill i had no problems at least getting one skill piont everytime i found a box and opened it.

now i get no skill pionts for opening a box. none for crafting. and it takes 1 green rare piece of equipment and like 8 other pieces just to get a 4 or a 5rating under crafting

and that only produces 3skill pionts. thats alot of stuff almost 1gold piece of stuff for 3 skill pionts. im wondering if arms and mythasim is this way to or if it is inbalanced. also that to me seems a little extreame at skill lvl 210 and at lvl 22.

im not getting any skill anymore for opening boxes every now and then an odd box may give 1skill piont for high lvl boxes opened (201+) but not often.

if this is how its suppose to be then god i'll prolly need to take apart 4purple items at 300 and rare purples at 350 wow.

anywayssince im only getting 3 skill pionts for breaking-down bout a gold piece worth of stuff is there a better way to get skill pionts?

and am i suppose to be getting skill pionts for when i make stuff.

You need to research items in the skills appropriate level area, like 200+ requires items of level 21+ to be effective, the higher the level, the more effective the research.

At least seems like that to me.

Break down items until you skill cap (200/300). Then save every item in your crafting until you level up to 21 or 31 and buy the next cap. At level 21, I instantly went up to 300 skill, at 31 I went right to 400.

Tips:

-Only research 3 stars, 4 and 5 stars is only for collecting insight/profundity/epiphany. For the number of items you would have to put in to get 4 or 5 stars you can research a second time at 3 stars.

-If you're short skill points create green quality custom secondary items and then research using them (which gives you more mats to make them, and break them down over and over). It should require 2 or 3 greens per 3 star research (sorry can't remember exactly).

-the only thing good about researching purples is that they break down into lots of the blue quality crafting mats required for the crafted epics and blue level primaries.

oh ok. yea this is very usefull information. i tried it and it seems if i craft 200 plus takes 3 things to get rank3 crafting and 2skill pionts. however i never get all the parts i use back. still seems a bit much but i guess with skill cap of 400maybe it will get easyer with more expinsive stuff. thanks for the good info
