Mysicism or Science for End/Pre Darkness toon

Hey All,
I am looking for a little bit of guidance on whether Mysticism or Science (End/Pre SS) for my Darkness/Telepathy toon. Mysticism seems to be the best way to go for Pre and Science seems slightly better for End overall. However, after looking through the wiki (and what little info there is there on crafting) and the stickied Crafting Overview thread I am leaning a little more closely to Science as Mysticism seems to be Ego-heavy which is something I really don't need.
Thoughts?
