ok im wondering im lvl 17 i have a 151 skill lvl i went to buy components to craft something then relized i needed 4 more skill pionts so i reasearched an item to gain my 4 skill pionts and next thing i know what i wanted to craft now required 5more of every component and 10more of a few. is it designed this way? or is it a bug

If you didn't have enough skill points to learn the recipe, how did you know what materials you needed for it? As far as I know you can only see the materials after you have already learned it.

ok your right i got that a little mixed up. i needed 2 more animal dna components i already could make it. but taking apart stuff to see if i got any more animal dna components well i did that and remade stuff boosted my skill lvl . im pretty sure i checked how much stuff i needed before i went to the auction and boosed skill pionts. it was an older item so i bought the stuff neded but because i had boosted my skill pionts by like 4 when i got back from the auction i relized i did'nt have enough to make it. so idk maybe i was off by a few. but i thought for sure i knew how much more i needed of animal dna. and that the number had went up

I'm not really sure what to tell you - I haven't experienced anything like this before, but it's possible that there is a bug floating around. If you are able to recreate this type of scenario and the same thing happens, you should definitely file a bug report in game with as much information as possible - that way if anything is going wrong the devs can try to figure it out.
