Insight Books - Keep them?

I recieved an 'Insight Book' and when i examine it in my inventory....it just says to visit my Arms trainer to see what i have learned. Do I need to keep this thing...does it get used?

You can use it to buy 'special' crafting recipes with it.

You use them to "buy" various recipes that you can use to craft stuff.

Some recipes are purchased with Insights instead of regular resources. You will use them to purchase these recipes. So hang on to them otherwise you won't be able to get all of the recipes that would otherwise be available to you.

When you Research/Experiment with 5/5 (or maybe 4/5 too), you have a chance to get some of those. There are Slight Insights, Mild Insights, Insights, Great Insights (I think they are) based on the general range of items you're Experimenting (1-10, 11-20, etc). Most of the Power Replace blueprints require one of these to learn, as do the component Conversion ones (turning the common items into uncommon ones). To learn every blueprint, you need like 12-15 of each kind, but they aren't very common (and seem to be getting less so). I've got an Arms guy at about 280 now and have gotten maybe 8-10 Slights, 7-8 Milds, and 2 plain Insights so far. If you decide not to get into crafting much, Auction House em if you can (don't recall if Bound or not).

Ahh I see...I just didn't realize that i had been aquring these in my inventory and using them all along.
