The primary offense item "Corruption Form - Toxic Fist Enhancement" adds a 6.5% chance of doing about 200 toxic per "unarmed melee attack".
GIven the blueprint description says it adds it to "your martial arts attacks", I was a bit scared, as I am Might, but I tried it anyway.
It works for Might.
Here are some of the characteristics so far.
Rate of Proc
Clobber - The 0.48s energy builder
457 punches on auto, done in 4 groups of a minute each, with 10 total procs = 46 punches per proc, or about 2.2%
Ok, so not gonna "make up the difference" by buzz-sawing.
Haymaker on quick tap
30 punches, zero procs. Didn't do more to find some, but not looking too good,.
Haymaker, full charge up
'32 punches, 7 procs = 1 per 4.57 or 21.8% proc rate
So the bigger, slower the whomp, the more frequently the proc goes off. Clearly they're benefitting the full charge up, too, which is nice.
This is a work in progress. I haven't calculated the scaling rate for this multiplier, and what "level" activates exactly at 6.5%.
A huge guess, and I admit it, at the moment is proc rate is (1.0 + speed of recharge) * 6.5%.
However, I don't have other powers to test this with.
Mighty Leap Test
According to this theory, Mighty Leap should do a proc every 13%. Or 6.5% if the 1.0 + part above is inaccurate. In either case, both are wrong. Did 30 Mighty Leaps, full charge, no procs. So either it doesn't work at all with Mighty Leap, or I got very unlucky, or it's also damage-related somehow.
My bet's on it doesn't work with MIghty Leap at all.
Beatdown
Fast, 0.5s activate, no build up or maintain ability, i.e. tap only
100 hits, 0 procs
So I'm thinking "unarmed" attacks means "things with no hold extras", which both Mighty Leap and Beatdown have. Or some general extra ability of some such, as opposed to good old punches like Haymaker.
when u equip the these types of Enhancements,
"Currently enhancing:" describes what current powers it can trigger off of.
I tried Shockwave & thunderclap even though they were not in the category & they did not trigger.
Does Haymaker & Mighty Leap show up under the "Currently enhancing" category when u equipped CF?
Roomsweeper shows up so I tested the % to trigger:
Full charges
89 hits, 9 triggers = 10% chance (6.5% on the item)
Hitting multiple Dummys only triggerd Toxic damage on one.
If you find the % to trigger is based on attack speed, then that is some good info.
Powers that take longer to charge up should trigger more.
