I understand that you go to the Tailor to change your outfit, but is there a way to keep 2 or 3 different choices that I can swap out? I like my default, but I wanted another look that I can use without having to by it every time.

You will get one more at level 15 and another one if you join a Supergroup. Now you will have to buy it initially, but after that you will be good unless you alter it.

You may get more costume slots later, but I'm only lvl 20 so I don't know.

As you progress you'll unlock additional costumes that you can change into pretty much any time. You get one at level 15, and another for joining a supergroup IIRC. I think there is a 4th at higher levels, but I am not sure.

They can be as similar or different as you want :)

Another costume slot opens at either level 30 or 35.
I'm not totally sure which, but I'm about 99.9% it's one or the other.

Put it this way: When I was level bumped to 40 during beta I had 3 costume slots and I wasn't in a SG so I know I got that 3rd one before level 40 somehow. ;)

It's 30 for the tird slot. One cool thing most people don't realize is that you can "tie" a costume into a Build. For instance, build 1 is set to my "tank" costume and build 2 is set to my "dps" costume. Now when I swap builds my costume swaps with it automatically. Pretty neat.

Yeah it's good that you can link costumes to builds in this game. But so far I haven't heard of a way to just change costumes regardless of builds like you can in City of Heroes. Ultimately it'd be cool if you could change costumes either way.

type /costume to bring up the list and click the one you want. Same build just costume change.

Edited to add the second sentence.

Well thank you everyone. I had hoped I could tie the costume changes to builds, though as a level 8, I don't have enough equipment and powers to worry about the builds yet.
