Alchemist Enhancement, worthless?

I'm testing this out, and even with 6 items all with this enhancement on it, I dont' really get back a noticeable amount. I've compared it with the drop that give 6.5% on kills and it's a huge difference. Teh 6.5 % one is very useful which got my hopes up for the Alchemist one.
