Why can't I sell my wand imbuement... etc

I am a mystic am was looking forward to selling a bunch of wands in the marketplace. Made a couple of them (glad I only made a couple) and went to put them up for sale - doh! bound!
I can't sell em.
All I can sell (in terms of devices), it seems, are the potentially dubious health/damage thingummies. (Which seem to be risky strategy, and not something most people would want).
Anyhow, thinking about it it makes some sense, but does rather diminish the economy... in as much as devices are very fun, and could be the mainstay of trading in CO.
Just wondered why this decision was taken.
