I realise there is some joy to random experimentation - but all these rewards that work with "certain powers" but don't tell you which ones... is this simply the best way to keep text manageable, or actually part of the way the game was conceived?
Both would make some sense... there is some entertainment in not knowing what, exactly, the armadillo helmet does.
But if it's simply because of tooltip space issues, why not add the possibility of clicking again, to see what exactly is being talked about.
In most cases it says what powers it works on in the last sentence of the description. Such as: "adds toxic effect on electric attacks" or somesuch. However, you cant find this out from the recipe at crafting table, you have to craft it and then you see the full description. This is sort of okay for me.
I think Ive seen one power that didnt state specifically what powers it enhanced. Note: this was a power not an item but I forgot what it was.
Excepts there is so much information on the power replacers if you have any of the ones it affects that you can't read it. I can't see the stats on any of my Munitions replacers because all I get is wall of numbers.

Cryptic should simply show us proper descriptions and save us the trouble of alt-tabbing to thirdparty sites to play the game.

if they wanted to do that, they'd have actually created a player's manual, instead of having worse documentation then darkfall.
