Arms Enhancements List with Bugs

I'm currently 400 skill in Arms Ordnance and I have every available enhancement. Many are bugged and many are vague. I liked Mors' guide a lot but his list is missing a bunch of enhancements, so I thought I would just provide my own list so that people can save their money on bugged enhancements until they're fixed. I've included every enhancement on my dropdown list. The dropdown seems to be bugged and display lots of duplicate enhancements with different tooltips.

The tooltip for an enhancement is parenthesis next to its name. I only included tooltips that seem incorrect.

To the Devs:
Whats the status on all the broken enhancements below? Several of them sound interesting, and it would be cool to make anything useful other than plain +stats.

    I'd also be interested in hearing about this. My experience with arms has been similar, with certain ehancements being duplicated or just not doing anything. Is there any difference between the two colossals, for example?

    All my testing so far on mysticism shows the same results. Pretty much everything that isn't a straight stat bonus does nothing at all. Very disappointing, what, they didn't think ANYONE would craft when the game launched? *sigh*

    The non-stat bonus things did work at some point, they apparently just bugged out with an OB patch.

    i remember one from CB that was called "exoskeleton" or something like that. it gave +9.1% dodge chance and +25% avoidance; i believe it was a major enhancement.

    anyway, it isn't displaying anything right now either.

    this thread needs to be seen by a dev...

    Many of the broken enhancements are not just broken when crafting, but also when receiving quest rewards.

    A bunch of the enhancements which are supposed to add a stat, instead just add a DESCRIPTION saying it raises that stat.

    Here are two examples from Mysticism.
    • Unfading: END Utility (Actual Effect, adds +Endurance)
    • Artifact: Arcane properties raise the max endurance of the wearer. (Actual Effect, adds that text to the description.)
    There are MANY quest rewards, specifically a lot of the Blue Rewards that look like trash, actually have text descripions on them such as "Raises Endurance", but when you look at the actual stats they do no such thing.

    The system stil has a serious number of broken items and enhancements.

    Beyond just this, there are still enhancements which require materials that are not even from the same tree.

    For example if I try to use the Timeless enhancement it wants me to supply a ton of Arms components.
    This is all BASIC stuff to the system and should hopefully be fixed and not overlooked for months.

    You'd think the part of the word description that says "raises endurance" would be pulled automatically from the stats, rather than it being part of a human-created description.

    Oh well, this is their first MMORPG. Live and learn. :)

    Why do Questionite and Kendrium only prevent energy/para damage? I would of assumed from the lore that they would resist "all" forms of damage up to quite a high level, espeically for Questionite.

    Anywho yeah.

    Was about to make a post about this.

    Also its not just that they dont do anything, some that you buy are named something different completely xD! Like "force" and "collosal" come up as something else...or they didnt appear lol.

    Why is this thread getting no attention from the devs, when it is one of the most important concerns on crafting atm?

    Give it a bit've time, to be honest albeit some of us have higher levels, a large majority of the playerbase is still leveling and don't have access to higher end crafting yet, thus this might get overlooked for things like balance changes and the sort which take priority.

    Regardless, *bump* because I'd like to see them fixed aswell.

    Maybe so, but ive found it very easy to get up to 200, nothing more than around a couple of hours.

    But yes, another bump because hopefully, this should be high up.

    Yeah, have the same issues. Trying to get info into a wiki, but it's near impossible with names that change between seeing in the store and after buying it and some don't do anything like the max Energy pool. Haven't tested the ones that do stuff like rooting and such to see if actually work though.

    There is some Mix/Match/Repeat going on with the descriptions, but the end results seem to all line up. It works enough as it is, to be useable. But not perfect. Work-around able.

    Having half the effects not working is hardly what I'd call "not perfect but work-around able".
    As of now, only the stats seem to work... and very few effects.

    You're right. You should just unsub and /quit now. Instead of using what actually works.

    some of them are indeed broken at the moment, they are on the to-do list, several of them work but fail to show anything due to how the autogenerated mouseovers work, there may not be a great fix for those immediately.

    And are you aware that the enhancement mouseovers for ARMS all show the Adhesive information?

    was a good thread untill someone started whining about the lack of attention from the devs.
    i think that person (he knows who he is) should quit eve and go back to wow.

    Which makes the ARMS enhancements extremely difficult to work with.

    I have 400 arms skill. I do not have the option for ELECTRIFIED (rec) or DESTRUCTIVE (+crit severity, +offense).

    Also, instead of STABILIZED I have "Gyrostabilizer."

    Are all the bugged ones in the original thread still bugged?

    I would guess so, since it still doesn't show the enhancements in the mouseover, but I'm hoping at least some of them might have been fixed.

    They are fixed, just making their way through the patch process now, you'll see patch notes when the fix goes live (and the power info will appear on the item.
