Non-working auction house search getting very irritating

Are there any plans to make the auction house item search work properly?
Right now, you cannot search for most items by their full name (to do a price check) because it says 'item not found'.. even if the item is clearly there, and searchable by one word in its name.
Given the huge amount of items in that marketplace - and the fact items do not expire - seems that this is fast going to become unworkable.
Please acknowledge that this issue is recognised!
(of course, even better would be another way to price check items... and compare with the same items in different rarities)
