Multiple specializations?

If I click to learn a discipline it says I lose any skills, but if I click to learn a specialization it just says skill points.

Does that mean I can buy a bunch of ordnance blueprints, then learn another and have 2 sets? Is there any reason to do so?

As long as you stay within your Skill, changing specialization will not remove access to your old blueprints, you still need enough Skill to use the old blueprints.

There's not much reason to do so beyond rp/flavor, the upgrades are the same for the specializations within each Skill. The differences are only when you switch main Skill.

btw you can do both, while they will have the same things, you can technically rank up science with inventions then switch over and start on exposures and keep the ability to craft the inventions
