Problem with marketplace search function

I have discovered something quite odd...
Often when I search for an item by its full two or three word name, the marketplace tells me no such item exists.
But when I search by one of its names, the marketplace finds it.
This is not the case with all items - some it seems to find ok by their full name.
I have checked spelling very closely, tried all caps, no caps, cap as a first letter etc etc... I cannot work out what the issue is here. Any ideas?
