Not leveling up crafting skill when harvesting

I am currently in the first desert crisis zone and picked science for the crafting field. After about 20 attempts not one harvesting node gave me a skill point. Previously, actually before the big patch on 9/1, I was easily able to level up my heroes in mysticism and arms by harvesting these nodes in the crises zones.

Anyone know if there were any changes?

    try relogging... I know it sounds dumb but 3-4 harvest in a row and got no skill ups

    came back and am getting skill ups again.

    Is it just mysticism that is having this issue for you, or have you tried other professions and harvesting yet?
