Blue resources for T1 crafting, any use?

I've only done the main type of each craft, and avatars for mystic, but i still have not seen any recipes that use the blue tier 1 resources, i.e. orichalum for mystic, and i forget what the other ones are, but the arms one's icon is the same as the piece you get for making your radiation shield in the desert crisis.

Anyone seen any recipes that use these? The only blue resource i've seen used in anything was the web thingy(not on my level 29 atm so cant look at it) from mysticism that is used in the scaling quality items you can craft in tier 3.

The only 'Blue' resource I've gotten for Science (skill ~225) are the epiphanies. Must be a mysticism thing?

Yeah I have T1 and T2 Mysticism blue resources (Orchalcum and Hellstone respectively) and I haven't seen a recipe for either. Granted I haven't found enough of those damnable Profundities to get all the recipes and I'm specialized in Enchanted Gear so I suppose it can be usable in one of the other sub-crafts.

It's not just mysticism. Fairly certain all three have em. I was playing my science and arms chars a bit earlier, both are now at 200. I know i got a few of one type on one of the two of them, but i cnat log in to check what they're called, or to see if i have them on both.
Wait, i did get something FROM some blues i just dismantled on science a few mins ago, trying to think of what it was, somethingorother isotope, and it's used in one of the consumables recipes. Had the recipe in beta, but never got any blues to dismantle, so never got to make it. I'm not sure if the isotope was blue quality, but i think so.

The only recipes ive seen that use any blue stuff are the ones in tier 3 that you can slide a quality bar, and then select a minor and major slot enhancement. Major is only there on the primary slot items, secondary slot items only have the minor. You can slide the bar from white yellow green and blue, and at blue, and maybe some in green, they take the blue quality item. It's a crystallized or jeweled web for mystic. These items are pretty damn nice if you crank em to the blue quality, although with some of the enhancements, the changes are very minor between them.

Have you tried the higher quality crafting options? I just found out that you can craft basic items and increase the quality to create blue items of better quality with different stats....(Maybe I'm just slow or it wasn't explained very well 8).....Maybe the upgraded versions of those need blue components?

I explained that in the posts above. There are none of those items until tier 3. At least not in mysticism / avatars. You dont get the sliding scale custom items til 200+ So they use the tier 3 blue, the jeweled spider web. Not Orichalum or Hellstone (pretty sure thats them, server is down so cannot verify)

That's why the post. I was wondering if maybe there are some of those custom items in lower tiers of the other two brances in mysticism.

I know arms have a blue at Tier 1, however I remember something I could build using it way back when. I can't check now as everything is down for another 2 hours. I'll try to update when I can get back in.

Yeah, there are no tier 1 or 2 recipes that use them. Yet.

the healing stuff? That's a bug, it is getting fixed once my changes for that go live. It will be something else that uses them. :)

No it's a primary utility item, takes 4 subatomics. Forget the name of it off the top of my head.

Oh is it the Green quality Upgrades? The above the curve Upgrades use more expensive mats. :)

Yeah that's what I figured, just your comment of teir 1 & 2 blue mats not being used confused me a moment there. Also is science supposed to have secondary utility items that give 15 End 25 Int and 10/10 Physical/Energy defense?

Two teir 3 secondary utility items, think the first is either lvl 24 or 26, the other is a green name one that is for lvl 29. I wasn't sure if they were just tagged wrong or not, when I saw two in there were that way, the second giving 18 end 25 int. I figured there was a smaller chance of it being the case, but since you're here and responding quickly I thought I should ask.

EDIT: Oh and thanks for the heads up on the science healing items being broken in mats cost. Figured it was when I saw the teir 3 temp shield took 16 blue mats.
