Energy builder power missing

Last night I made a custom framework character and selected Sonic blaster as my energy builder. When I entered the game I had my second power, but the energy builder was missing. The error is easily repeatable and I encountered (and reported) it in beta as well.
The only way I found to get around it is to click several energy builders OTHER than the one you want, select your second power and then click back and choose the actual energy builder you want and continue on from there. Very annoying.
