Auction House UI Feedback

I think the auction house UI is way to simple. The only thing you can filter for is name and level and rarity.

But you ALSO should be able to sort so the cheapest of an item is shown first, and you should be able to see the second and third sets of 100. Some items by now have several hundred items, there needs to be a way to SEE the stuff available. I also think it would be a good idea to see who is selling the item, so you can ask them directly for future crafting, which would lighten the load on the obviously overstrained AH system.

The system you have up now seems like it was designed in an hour, by someone who really couldn't be bothered, as even a LITTLE thought would have added at least a couple of the features I mentioned (because it took ME only a few minutes--and we all know how -I- am)

I agree, this is way over simple.
As an ex-WoW'er, I was expecting something a bit more complex especially when you consider that I think that the AH would be for all players so this will get huge in very short order.
And no time out on auctions?

Not sureI'm going to bother again until there is some sort of item database so I know what I am looking for eg if I'm only looking for a DEX piece etc

Agree, its terrible to find anything if you don't know the name.
And even then if there are more than 100 items you don't know if you could have gotten it cheaper.

I completely agree. It would be nice if it told you who made the item, if you could sort items by power, stat, etc. The level of functionality that the auction UI has now is extremely poor.

Stand above the Power house in MC. Face the Air pad where the plane to take you back to the SW and Canada is located. The AH is on your Left at 9 O'clock. The Bank is right next to it. It will have a bunch of stock broker types in it. The computer terminals in around the center pillars on the AH access points.

Agreed the AH as it is now is just awful. I'd also like to see a way to shift click or drag and drop something from my inventory in to the search bar of the AH (I am a horrible speller and even worse typer, and this would help out a lot) or even better when I place an item in the sell window show me the last 10 selling prices for said item.

if we cant get any shift click or D&D than like i said I'm a very bad speller so when I move my mouse cursor over an item the cursor in the search bar goes away meaning if it's a long named item I have to write it down on a piece of paper or move the cursor back and forth multiple times and that really sucks.

I would also like to be able to sort by cheapest first, and to search only for Mysticism, Science, or Arms items.

All I have to say is, make the AH ui into something like the auctioneer mod for WoW, and you will have a great part of your economy.

I'd like to see bulk items, like common crafting components, broken out into a seperate auction function that works more like CoH's or PotBS's. No reason for commodity items to be handled as individual auction lots.

Some way to do mass postings and auction cancellations would be spectacular.

The UI looks like some first generation UI. No functionality what-so-ever. Why is it that you're only allowed to see 100 listings of a particular item? It's like first come first serve. You could post an item for sale and not have it sell in months due to the fact that it may be item 101 or lower. As said in earlier posts in this thread, I agree that there needs to be major changes to the UI. Give the players more options.

Basic functionality for it to be usable would be...

    Search by Cost.
Search by Bonus type ( +str, + health, defence, offense etc ).
    Search by Slot type.
Search by Skill type ( sub skill as well ).

All the searches should be orthogonal ( could search for Science Primary Defences with Str ).

You should also be able to search more than 100 items.

The UI aside..which is Horrible. I'm completely baffled at the prices people are putting up. One minute they say that Retcon costs too much, the next its 10-15 Global for a simple power replacer.
