When I first start playing the game, it runs nice and smooth - but sooner or later it'll hit a bump and all hell breaks loose. As in, I'm just playing and bam a HUGE FPS drop and heaven forbid I'm moving otherwise It'll be a nice little power point presentation.
My PC isn't uber fast, but it should be fine for this game at medium-high settings:
pentium D 960 3.6ghz
nvidia 9800GT
2gigs of ram
NZXT 500w PSU
And I know the graphics card isn't overheating. At any given moment in the game, the temperatures hover around 65c and it stays there when my FPS returns to normal. Also, I toned the graphics down a bunch and it still drops from time to time. I used that slider on the video tab to make it faster at the cost of performance. Looked horrible, but still the same outcome.

Outside it drops to 1-2 fps at random
eventually comes back to hovering around 30fps
inside instance im going to guess it hovers around 10fps
