Steam CD-key

So I bought this game on steam, but it seems like I have not recieved a CD-key with it nor can I synch it with my accout here. There is no special options for that in the right-click menu either, how can I solve this?

EDIT: NM, restarting steam solved the problem. I had to shut it down completly using CTRL-ALT-DEL before though, otherwise it did not help.
