Has cryptic come out with any policy on game mods?

I'm doing some intial forum searching but having found anything yet.

Is there any plans in the works to release any web services, etc. for databasing, etc.?

    I second that. Mods that would let you configure the UI or an app you can use on your iPhone would be really cool.
