Just curious, was wondering when we would get our Action Figure from signing up for the newletter?

I still don't understand where people get these crazy facts.

We'll be handing out the Action Figure sometime in the next week. I'll post on Super News Network when it's being done.

What about the Silverbacks you mentioned, I don't have mine for that yet either.

Yep, I expect the Defender in a few days.

However, I'm not sure how/where to pick up the Silverback and Bug Hunter figures. I'm REALLY looking forward to chibi Dr. Silverback. :p

For some reason, and I'll have the check the email about this, I thought the action figure from the newsletter would be a mini version of your character. There is a Defender action figure in the Cryptic Store already and I am going to be kind of disappointed if the 'exclusive' action figure from the newsletter was the one I just bought.

Silverback and bughunter were from the headstart invasion if i am correct. (got mine) You needed to be in headstart and get the 2 perks to unlock them.

You need the perks from the head start. If you have those go to the toy guy in the ren ctr.

    Expect to be disappointed.

No offense meant, but maybe people wouldn't pull these "crazy facts" out of their backsides if we had more communication from the Devs on the issues? In the absence of real facts, people will make stuff up. Other people start believing it, and next thing you know you have a forum full of misinformed people. A little info from up the tree goes a long way in squelching rumors; in this case a simple notice that the newsletter pets were still in the works would have prevented speculation from the players.

On the same note, any word from the devs on the perks & pets from the head-start? I was logged in during the event, saw the post that we'd be getting the perks & pets regardless due to the bugs in the events. Flash forward to today, no obvious extra perks or pets listed on the toons in my account. Is this still being worked on?

For the casual gamer, What exactly were the two 'perks' we need?

Originally, kill 100 invading Qulaar for one pet and a swarm leader (?) for the other pet.

BUT...as I understand it, since the invasion event was a bit buggy, if you loggen in during head start you will get the pets.

But are they sent/attached ot the account, or do we need to go get them somewhere?

For the Qularr Invasion perk action figures you go to the Toy Maker found in the Ren Center in Millennium City.

As for the 'exclusive pet' that you have said is coming the coming week or so. (Thank you for the clarification by the way!) Is it really an exclusive pet as stated in this newsletter:

    http://us1.campaign-archive.com/?u=b9e128e61093be03835491d95&id=2202637a7a

Or is it the very same defender action figure that is currently purchasable in the C-Store?

The one in the store looks different than the one in the newsletter, but who knows if that's the one we'll get or not.

What about the Silverbacks you mentioned, I don't have mine for that yet either.

You had to earn that by getting the appropriate perk in the headstart period and then purchasing it from the Toymaster in MC

Unless a dev told you that you're getting one just for loggin in... then you shouldn't believe that.

I never seen anything like that... and i have my 3 exclusive figures from beta and head start. i took part in the events that required them.

    Also

I too was under the impression that we'd be getting a figure of our toon... NOT defender. And the defender was only for example... a picture to go with the story

The amount of ignorance in this thread hurts my brain. Look in the Super News Network at the top of the boards. All of your ills can be cured if you'll stop spreading misinformation, acknowledge you might not know what you're talking about and go look and see what the people who make the damn game have to say.

    smackphat... Please lighten up.

Not everyone can be here to read every thread, like you. People have lives, and choose to play the game, instead of reading the forums. And don' take that as I'm telling you, that you have no life because you read the forums. Take that as that is your hobby, but not everyone's hobby.

I myself only come to specific forum threads that interest me as i browse through. But i don't go looking from EVERY thread based on what I'm interested in reading. And i assume that many other people are the same way.

Instead of making comments like that, why don't you be kind enough to post a comment from the devs, and make it easier for everyone? It would be much more appreciated then an attitude.

This would be the dev originated thread that stated only a log in during the head start would be required.

    Ah... i see now.

That is awesome. i mean i kinda feel jipped that i worked on 2 accounts to make sure my fiance and myself got those action figures... but whatever. I realize that not everyone can spend ALL day trying to get those perks and i felt it was unfair. I'm looking forward to those events to be alot more like the end beta event... constent and not so hard to obtain.

Congrats to everyone who were able to get these perks!
