Loading screen freezing when entering zones

Hello
As of the day before yesterday, I've been unable to log into the game with any of my characters. I log into the game and get past the character selection screen, but it gets stuck on the loading screen at about 90-95%; the loading message keeps flashing and the Tip messages change, but the progress bar is completely stuck... there's very little hard drive activity once the progress bar stops, and I've left it for more than 10 minutes without anything happening. The game worked fine for me on the last few days of beta and on the first day of the pre-play week. I've tried uninstalling the game and deleting the folder and redownloading the whole thing, but it's still the same.
I've logged this as a support ticket, but I'd like to know if this is a known issue or something I can fix from my end (I can play other MMOs from my PC just fine at the moment)
