Camera Angle

I'm having problems figuring out how to set the camera angle. I can move it temporarily but it moves back to default every time I travel or use the mouse. I'd like more of an overhead view (just a third higher than where it is now) so I don't have to look at the back of my head but still can see forward and a bit down while flying. thanks for the help!

agreed. I like to move my camera around while I'm traveling. Sometimes just to see something in the environment, sometimes just to have a cool looking angle while I'm flying to the other side of the map. Would be nice if it would stay where you left it.

Also, would be nice if movement was based on the direction your character is facing, not the direction the camera is facing.

There's a setting for 'always face forward'. Try turning it off.

Where is that setting? I looked in the options and can't find it. Am I missing it?

If I could get in the game I would love to try this out. I really hate the camera angle in flight. I want to look a bit down to see beneath me but not fly into the ground. Now I have to stop to look down. Not good in all situations.

More wider cam angle, able to pull farther be nice.

How about an option so the camera angle will NOT change at all when moving. ie. It remains pointing in the direction and at the verticle angle you are viewing. Change the angle while moving and it simple stays.

I set my Camera to Fantasy Style play, and every time I enter a new area... it re-sets. It's very annoying. There is no way to set it as a fixed camera angle... and it is upsetting me to keep changing the camera angle every single time I enter a new zone. Is there any help for this?

I've tried changing both Free Camera (vs Follow) and Always Face Forward to no effect. When flying I can mouse-look in any direction but as soon as I release the button the camera swings back to facing the direction of travel. Like the other posters here I'd really like to have the camera stay put.
