Perk Issue with quest: A Crafty Contrivance

I completed this and the fission quest, but the perks isn't complete. I'm not sure what happened, but I remember clearly creating the radiation device as per the quest, turning EVERYTHING in, and only then entering the place to kill megaton.
I ahve no idea what to do now. I tried entering a ticket via the website here, but you can only enter technical and billing issues that way. Can I enter this as a gameplay in the game? Can anyone help?
I'm a freakin OCD completist. And without this perk, I'll have to reroll. /cry... Ideas?
