Gadgeteering Pet Problems

This is a cross post because the power section forum seems void of any information.

Alright, Can someone please tell me what is going on with Gadget pets, like the muni bots and drones?

They have all become almost useless.

*Drones just fly off and do what ever they feel like now, they do not follow you anymore. You are very lucky if you get them to heal you. Are they going off to get coffee or reading the newspaper?

*Muni bots, when they start shooting mobs and if they hit any environmental objects they will NOT pull off (stop shooting) of that item until it is destroyed. If you transform the muni bots to turrets and then back, only one of them comes to you. You have to re-summon them very often.

*Toy melee pets are the same way, I can be half dead and they will finally go fight something and when they do it's sometimes not the target you are focused on.

Oh and what is the deal with the stacking on top of each other and me!

Very frustrating.

    I am having the exact same problems....

    Also, adding that when I am inside an instanced building with smaller door openings, the field drones get stuck in the doorway and just never come through. I feel like I am constantly having to re-summon these suckers. I "bugged" it in game, but I came here specifically today to add something to the forum. I am glad I am not the only one having this issue and hope that it gets resolved quickly.

    One last thing, either make your pets follow at the same speed (flight or acrobatics) or just have them disappear and reappear where you end up because everytime I go to fly off, they always lag way behind. Most of time, end up disappearing on their own but I have to resummon when I stop which can be annoying if I stop to fight something.

    I'll add my voice to this thread. Its irritating to have to constantly resummon the pets because they freeze or get stuck on a speck of dust. Its pretty much every other set of mobs that I have to resummon something. The command buttons are useless as the pets just seem to do whatever they want.

    When they work its beautiful, but they're only working like 5-10% of the time.

    ya im having the same probblems with the feild bots, they either get stuck, or they dont follow, or they dont even heal heh. i generally have to summon them whenever i enter combat, everytime!

    Yeah, I've stopped playing my gadget character until this gets fixed. The problems I've noticed:

    HEALING DRONES
    - Seem to work fine for the first fight after being summoned, but after that...
    - Wander off to heal ANY player that's damaged, something going beyond 100ft
    - Hover above damaged gadgeteer and not heal him/her
    - Heal each other as a priority over the gadgeteer
    - Stop following if the slightest bit of scenery gets in the way
    - Have terrible pathing

    MUNITION BOTS
    - Stop following randomly and de-spawn for no reason
    - Will go berserk on objects
    - Do not respond to the Tap (change form) every time
    - Have terrible pathing

    The very first thing I'd like to see fixed is pathing and positioning. They should be much smarter about following, and rather than stacking right on top of you, they should follow in a staggered formation.

    To add to this I would also note the difficult seeing what you do have summoned and also getting resummoned. Not sure if it is standard but with COH resummoning will drop what is there and summon new ones. I would have thought that or at least resumming a new one if it has been destroyed would be reasonable.

    I have died repeatedly because I couldnt see one or both of the merged healers had died and even when I did notice when I try to charge to resummon it appears fully charged and wont let you resummon without either you dismiss which dismisses ALL summoned pets (EXTREMELY annoying) or wait until the "corpses" of the original disappear and usually in this time die because even with high constitution before getting them I died constantly.

    It is all very frustrating and makes life very difficult which is a shame because the powers themselves are all extremely good.

    This stuff definitely needs to get fixed, especially the pathing and heal/attack priorities.
