You should post system specs too as a reference other wise no one can really give you any useful advice

Your settings that you posted should be fine. Beyond it, I cannot really help on it. It's similar to what I have for my settings, and I run around 35-60 FPS. I have a GTX 275 and a Core 2 Duo E8400 clocked at 3.8GHZ, however. Boosting the clock from 3.6 (my usual) to 3.8GHZ helped quite a bit, actually. It is quite obvious this game is too CPU dependent.

Yes and that needs to be completely redone or they will lose a lot of people

Um... I work for NVIDIA, in the DirectX driver department no less... I don't use Control Panel, and I suggest that you don't either unless there's a feature that you just need. Game developers are much better about getting the most out of you system than they used to be, so several of the features of Control Panel are pointless. Just let CO be CO and you'll probably get the best experience. Also, we should have a recommended Control Panel settings pre-built into our Control Panel as CO is a "Way It's Meant to be Played" title.

No, it's not. Trust me when I say that we and Cryptic have people looking at this.

You know I think your on to something since I didn't do a thing with the control panel till folks started stating this and that which has lead to CO crashing more often then when I didn't mess with it. The only thing I'd change in the control panel is from multi-panel to single.

It is best not to change options in the Nvidia control panel if you are unfamiliar with it. Changing some options can lead to a decrease in performance, and extreme cases cause issues with other components.

Can we get a general guideline from the devs for running the game with nvidia? I started playing the game with no issues and now I can't even retrieve a map without crashing.

My dxdiag since I can't attach it due to file size restrictions.

I appreciate you taking the time to tell us this but the low fps is annoying and causing people to leave the game. Is this something that could be fixed soon? I am glad to hear it's being looked at and not ignored.

Shouldn't it be single if you are only using a single? I went back and restored the defaults. I just hope this issue is fixed soon cause I am seriously about to give up.

Sadly, this game SERIOUSLY needs better optimization. A LOT of us players here have HIGH-END machines & the decreased FPS in this game is unacceptable. Did they seriously not test nvidia GTX cards at all? lol

Or Win vista 64bit. I cannot get above 35-40 FPS with 2x295s and an i7. Which is really sad.

Unfortunately, it looks as if those 2x295's are for naught. At least for the time being. A workaround has been floating around the forums that if you disable AA, AF, and v-sync in-game, then force them on through nVidia control panel by selecting "override application settings", it will take some of the load off your poor poor cpu, and put your vid cards to work. Unfortunately for myself, I can't seem to get the control panel overrides to "stick", or "apply" to the game when I load the game up. I've been working on a solution all day, but have yet to find a workaround. I suspect it *MAY* have something to do with nVidia's drivers and vista/windows 7 64 bit. Good luck to you.

PS: If anyone has any suggestions to get the control panel settings to ACTUALLY override champions, I'm all for being the test mule.

Which are we applying the settings to? Is it championonline.exe or gameclient.exe?

Dude, if 295 (and moreso SLI 2x295) and an i7 can't run the game properly in 60 FPS with everything maxed (or at least Recommended), then SOMETHING IS SERIOUSLY WRONG.

Apply the changes to the gameclient.exe

Let me know if it works for you, perhaps you can list your driver version, operating system, and vid card. This may help me troubleshoot my own problems with it.

Lol no doubt. I'm running an OC gtx 260, 4 gigs fo ram, 3.0 core 2 duo, and I'm averaging probably 25 fps in Mill City. More like 15 when flying.
