Character Designer Bug: Back selection disappearing

When creating a toon if I put a back item on him say a cape or jetpack and then switch from Tights and Skin to Full Shirts of Jackets I lose the Back selection button for choosing back costume pieces and when I switch back to Tights and Skin the Back option does not return. So if I set up a costume with a back piece like a cape and I change it to Full Shirts I not only lose the cape but I am from that point on completely unable to select a costume piece for the Back and I wind up having to reset everything back to default and start all over.

Ive been having the same issues. Pre-Patch I created a character with dual swords on his back and a trench coat. All the option were available and I could create any combination I could think of. After the 8/29 patch, that all changed.

The text is running into each other or getting hidden behind other objects. I have ZERO options for back or belt selections. Even if I "random" the constume until I get back details, the dropdown still doesnt appear. Its very wishy washy and feels more like "luck" to get what you want your character to look like. The costume design is one of the greatest features of the game. I hope it gets completely fixed soon!

Though I know theres a ton of bugs that need addressing and this one hardly affects gameplay, but we do have to consistantly look at an incomplete constumed character. ;o)

I've seen this as well. Good news is that there's a workaround to use while they fix it.

If you point at the character model you can select a part by clicking, if you aim for the small of the back (even with no back set) you can select the back slot. However if you put on a cape you can never take it off this way, as it selects capes and not the back slot =p

I be sure to give that a try Quin, thanks for posting that tip. :)
