Science and Blueprints

I am having trouble learning a few of the blueprints under science. I go to the trainer in the desert, click 'learn blueprints', set filter to Available only, then I tab over to the 'conversion' tab and I see 2 blueprints (Energy Catalyst and Gadget Bay Theorem Conversion). However, they are unclickable so I cannot learn them (and I don't have them already). I have been able to learn others since I noticed this, just not those. I am lvl 8 with a science skill of 26/100. Am I missing something?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!!!

Right they look like blueprints but they are really conversion skills..
kinda the same thing and you can get Insight and Skill points for doing it.
So you can change other crafting components into those items you need for Crafting better gear when your Skill is over 100.

Many of the Power Armour and Gadgeteer Skills require a Power source Component.. and if the Harvest Nodes in your area are not providing them.. this gives you an option to get needed components... By converting
Argent Training or some other thing into Power Cells or Gadget Boy Theory. or energy crystal..what you said sorry.. Those are some of the most used componets.. in the recipe lists..

Science is a great School for making gear for yourself or helping Super Group Friends. When you get in the 200s you can start making Gun Drones Like Doctor Destroyer Has.. which are better then the Power skill drones you can get in some ways.. They fly so they track with you better and paired with MED drones you can heal on the fly...

Conversions are not bought with regular currency, but with Insights/Epiphanies (which you get from good experiments). For science they look like little PDA's and appear in your inventory if you have any.

    Thanks SenshiBat
I see now that the items (what I thought were blueprints) are in my inventory. They are listed as components which confuses me a little that hey are listed among the 'blueprint' menu. So, will I be using them to convert the random science items into other components? Do I need to wait until I am 100 in the skill first? And can I only convert Science items or can they all be converted once I have the conversion item?
Sorry if I seem thick. It just hasen't clicked for me yet to understand. :o

Thanks Zap-Robo too....I do see that the Insights/Epiphanies are in red next to these components on the blueprint list so I obviously do not have what is required to buy them yet.

The Conversion blueprints you can buy lets you turn specific other components into the type shown.

You need to get an Epiphany of the correct quality by performing Research with a good rating using items of the apropriate level (1-10 for lowest/Tier 1, 11-20 for Tier 2, 21-30 for Tier 3 and 31-40 for highest/Tier 4).
