Leveling up crafting

I was happily going up 10 points at a time from 0-100 crafting expecting it to get slightly slower later. I am now (100+) getting 1 point for an item a level below me. That seems pretty harsh and I am wondering if this is intended? 5 this tier would seem far more plausible. Oh and I am using items that filll that yellow bar at the bottom of the craft window (whatever that is) up to 5.

If you are using items that give you 5/5 stars, then you should get 4-5 points. 1-2 stars will give you 1 point, 3-4 stars will give you 2-3 points.

If you are putting in 5 star items and getting out 1 point, that is abnormal.

A low level white will give a bad rating, to get 5/5s from 101-200 use Yellow quality* of level 11-20. Green+ and 21+ will be a waste, you'll get more out of them once you get past 200.

Note that certain mission rewards will give a worse rating than their colour and level would indicate. This is usually the case for the ones that have a higher displayed quality than the other mission rewards you're offered. They also tend to have special abilities.

*Quality from worst to best: White, Yellow, Green, Blue and Purple.

Thanks there is obviously a bit more to things than meet the eye. Is it usual to have to 'grind' a bit for items round rank 2 (which I think is 100-200)? I guess 'usual' is all relative in the games infancyy :)

The ywllow bar at the bottom should I get an indication of how much I get from that.
