Could this run the game well?

First of all I apologise for posting these specifications - I'm definitely NOT an elitist, nor am I trying to show off, this is just a list of components I'm going to be using to build a new computer. How well would this run the game? Could I feesibly run it with the high-end graphics?

• OCZ Memory 4GB (2x2048MB) Intel Extreme Edition XMP Ready Series DDR3 PC3-12800 1600MHz RAM Dual Channel
• 1TB 1000GB Spinpoint F1 SATA II 300 7200rpm 32MB cache oem HD103UJ
• BFG nVidia GeForce 9800 GTX+ OC PCI-E
• Corsair PSU 750W CMPSU-750TX ATX12V

I highly recommend you not build that. Not that it isn't a good choice (though there are some odd choices that I'll get to in a minute), but because the Intel socket 1156 is set to launch in a matter of weeks. The socket 1156 will be the "mainstream" new tech, while the 1366 (what the Core i7 is currently on) will be the "overclocker / enthusiast" targeted socket. This means that prices will always remain high, while the socket 1156's high-end parts will be where the current low-end of the 1366 is. The mainstream and lower-cost offerings for socket 1156 should be quite a bit cheaper than socket 1366. Core i7, Core i5, and Core i3 CPUs will all be available for socket 1156, while only Core i7 will be available for socket 1366. Launch prices in a few weeks are expected to hit the lower end of the on-sale 1366 stuff, but I'm guessing by mid November prices will have settled and you can get a very solid Core i5 socket 1156 build for a fair bit less than you could do a Core i7 920 build right now. Plus, with the 1156 being the mainstream target I expect there to be far more options long-term in regards to CPU upgrade choices.

Now for the odd choices...

While you don't mention the motherboard you plan on using, nearly every last one of the socket 1366 boards uses Tri-channel setups. The choice for a dual-channel ram kit would be gimping yourself in terms of memory use/bandwidth. You should be looking at something like the OCZ XMP ready 6 gig DDR3-1600 kit currently at $136. (Often goes on sale for closer to $100.)

One terra? Seriously? While not exactly expensive these days, do you really need all that space? Have you instead considered a faster drive like a VelociRaptor to improve gaming, or even one of the new Intel X25-M drives for unmatched speed?

9800 GTX+? Is this a card you already have? The GTS 250 has newer tech than the 9800 GTX+. In fact, the BFG GTS 250 1 gig is cheaper than the BFG 9800 GTX+ OC and has double the ram.

Ideally you really want to go with a GTX 275, not counting the rumors that Nvidia is launching new series 2 cards any day now and targeting October for the series 3 launch.

Stuff to think about, but I'd highly recommend you hold off for about two months and go with a socket 1156 Core i5 build with a GeForce 360. (Though I'll lol if they use that name.)

yes.. and no... that system SHOULD be able to run this game fine...BUT the game cant run fine.. ALOT of people are having fps Issues.. from going from 60fps to 20fps in a second when nothing is happening on the screen..to ppl with VERY high end pcs running very low FPS 10-20fps.. Like with me for E.g .. i can run games like Age of conan (70fps max at 1900x1200) crysis At 40fps on Max Fear & UT on max.. butthis game.. forget it >< id say 30fps.. 5 when i fly.. So unless u wana play On VERY low settings.. Wait 6 months for them to iron out the problems..
