is there any option to cache/pre-load all/partly the textures in system memory, my system has 4GB RAM (win x64) and "/showmem 1" tells me not even 1GB is used by the client
really not sure this can help me gaining some more fps on my old 8800GTS with only 320Mb ram, let's say the extra memory is there and a 32bit application can easily manage up to 3GB memory in its 4GB memory space, why not?
